A recovery code is a backup method to log in if you can't access your authenticator app (due to a lost phone, broken phone, deleted app, etc.). You receive one recovery code during the MFA setup. If you need to use it, please follow these steps:
- Go to JobCloud ONE and enter your email and password, or use the login link.
- Instead of entering a 6-digit code, click "Use a recovery code".
- Enter your saved recovery code exactly as shown (including dashes if present).
- After logging in, you'll see a new recovery code. Save it immediately! Your old code is no longer valid.
If your recovery code doesn't work, it might be due to one of the following reasons:
- You've already used it (recovery codes are single-use only).
- Typing error (watch for O vs 0, I vs 1, l vs 1).
- Extra spaces before or after the code.
- It's from an old MFA setup.
If your recovery code doesn't work, contact the Customer Care Team at info@jobcloud.ai. We'll verify your identity and reset your MFA.
Please note: Recovery codes automatically regenerate after use. When you use your recovery code to log in, you'll immediately receive a new one. Save it right away! You cannot request a new recovery code without using the current one first.
